YNQ 2.3.0. Release Note
Visuality Systems is pleased to announce the release of YNQ 2.3.0, featuring numerous enhancements.
Breaking Changes
- Signing ‘DISABLED’ Policy Support Removed – Support for the ‘DISABLED’ signing policy on the server side has been removed.

Platform Support
- Android OS support added (Client side).
- iOS support added (Client side).
- YNQ for VxWorks now supports files larger than 4GB.
Security & Authentication
- Added support for external encryption algorithms using OpenSSL.
- Introduced SPN registration via DRSUAPI over RPC, replacing LDAP-based registration.
- AES-GCM encryption reworked for improved performance.
- Replaced UDP sockets with anonymous pipes for inter-thread communication.
Protocol & API Enhancements
- Introduced support for server-side copy extents (Client side).
- Introduced configurable limits for SMB operation sizes – It’s now possible to set upper limits on the size of SMB Read, Write, and Find requests. This enhancement enables better control over memory usage, helping to optimize performance based on the system environment.
