Visuality Systems has released jNQ 2.2.0, which includes a new API for loading configuration files; this feature can be used for creating a mechanism to change jNQ configurations in production environments. jNQ configurations were enhanced to provide the options to determine a global minimum and maximum SMB dialects to be used, and to specify whether to disable the internal NetBIOS resolving method. The time for establishing a new SMB connection was reduced by eliminating unneeded SMB calls to SMB/DFS servers.
